PRESS RELEASE:
Seattle-Based Interior Designer Adds New Eco-Friendly Paint to Authentic Home Product Line
October 23, 2007
For Immediate Release
Seattle, Washington – Home remodeling is becoming increasingly eco-friendly. First there were energy efficient appliances, then came sustainable building materials, and now even paint has gone “green.” Authentic Home COLOR Paint has released a new line of premium, environmentally conscious paints.
Authentic Home COLOR Paints are the brain child of Seattle area interior design and color consultant, Kathy Banak who understands the growing demand for “green” home products.
“Homeowners are becoming savvier when it comes to redecorating with eco-friendly materials,” explains Banak. “It was only natural for me to design a high quality, environmentally conscious paint option.”
This new green paint has a low odor, zero volatile organic compounds (VOC) and is solvent free. It’s environmentally responsible and contains antimicrobial product protection which inhibits the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the dried paint film.
The paint sells for $43.95 per gallon and comes in three finish options: Matte - a flat finish; Buffed - a durable eggshell luster; and Polished - a semi-gloss finish.
Paints can be purchased online at www.authentic-home.com or at the Authentic Home COLOR Paint Bar at 4151 California Ave SW in West Seattle. Visuals on the Authentic Home Web site present decorating ideas by allowing visitors to see the COLOR Paint™ coordinated with fabrics and room settings.
“I find my clients are becoming more educated about ‘green’ options. I’m glad I am now able to offer a product that allows the color conscious to also be environmentally conscious,” said Banak.
